Discovery approaches runway 33 at KSC.

Pre flare shot from the roof of the Vehicle Assembly Building or VAB using two cameras.

One of my cameras was setup with a wide angle lens and one with a 450mm lens.

Discovery crosses over runway 33 threshold!

Touchdown 1:01pm EST after traveling 6.2 million miles since launch!

With the Drag Chute jettisoned Discovery comes to a stop with the Shuttle Training Aircraft overhead.

Members of the media wait the for the elevator which had a problem.

With my fisheye lens you see a unique view of both the floor and ceiling of the 520 ft VAB in one photo.

About 4 hrs after landing I had the opportunity to shoot the tow-back of Discovery to OPF-3 where it will be processed for its next mission.

Nice shot of the inside the SSME's.

Discovery approaches OPF-3.

Discovery ended up spending the night here while workers had a problem with nthe left OPF door.
