Launch day brought very foggy conditions compared the day before. Both
photos are with a 80mm lens.
Left photo shows how bad the fog was at launch compared to photo
at right taken one hour after launch.
Below are photos taken the day before launch from SLC-6 the old Shuttle Launch Pad.
This photo on right is of the Space Shuttle Launch Control Room which
is less then 1,000 yards from the Pad.
